The purpose and aims of the Missouri City & Vicinity Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People shall be to improve the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; to keep the public aware of the adverse effects of discrimination; and to take lawful action to secure its elimination; consistent with the efforts of the national organization and in conformity with the Articles of Incorporation of the Association, its Constitution and Bylaws and as directed by the National Board of Directors.

Join the Fight!

When We Fight, We Win.

The NAACP Missouri City & Vicinity Branch is involved throughout the Fort Bend County community.  Molding the civil rights leaders of tomorrow, working to enact legislation, and promoting home ownership are just some of the many areas you can engage in through our active committee structure.  Criminal justice, legal redress, environmental justice, and economic development are all issues our volunteers work diligently in to enact change and progress.  Be a part of the change.

Our Leadership-The Executive Committee

It is the desire and the passion of the leadership of the Missouri City & Vicinity Branch to continue the fight for equality and justice throught the community. Your support of this group of leaders is necessary for the fulfillment of all of our dreams. By supporting them, you will be giving back to the organization that has done more to change this country for the betterment for people of color and the disenfranchised than any other in the nation’s history.
